Biography
Author. Thinker. Citizen of the World.
Emanuel Bogado is an author and thinker focused on leadership, strategy, and the evolution of human consciousness. He explores the deeper principles of strategy, understanding it not merely as a tool for performance, but as a discipline inseparable from leadership and human development. His work brings together philosophy, history, and real-world experience to articulate a vision in which strategy and leadership are unified as a path of inner transformation and responsibility toward others.
Born in Latin America and shaped by an international trajectory across diverse continents, countries, cultures, and realities, he has developed a distinctive perspective that integrates strategy, ethics, and human development.
Based in Sweden, Emanuel writes and teaches in multiple languages. He views leadership not simply as the ability to achieve results, but as the discipline of expanding one’s awareness—from the self, to others, and ultimately toward service. In this sense, leadership is not a position to attain, but a way of becoming.

The Books
Book I
Strategy: The Secret Knowledge of Alexander the Great
A CONTEMPORARY CLASSIC IN STRATEGIC THOUGHT
Rather than presenting strategy as a collection of techniques, this work returns to its original foundations—approaching strategy as a discipline of thinking, a formation of character, and a philosophy of judgment rooted in classical antiquity, Eastern and Western thought, and historical study. At its core lies a central question: what was the true source of Alexander the Great’s strategic genius? Drawing on his legacy, as well as the traditions and once-esoteric knowledge that shaped him, the book reconstructs a coherent framework of thought through the Essential Strategic Principle, the Five Strategic Wisdoms, and the concept of Grand Strategy. Through universal history, philosophy, ancient knowledge, and carefully selected modern parallels, the book reveals strategy not simply as a tool for competition, but as a way of understanding reality, making decisions, and acting with clarity across all domains of life.
“This is essential reading. A magnificent work destined to become a global reference.”
— Mauricio Santillán CEO of Visionaria, VP Intercontinental Microsoft
“A compelling and original contribution that bridges classical history, insightful analysis and solid strategic understanding.”
— Marcelo C. Campagnucci Associate Director, University of Copenhagen
Book II
Leadership: The Four Secret Realms of the Dragoman
A leadership odyssey
Written as a philosophical odyssey, the book unfolds through encounters with a mysterious guide—the Dragoman—who reveals the four inner realms every leader must cross. These symbolic territories trace the movement from ego and ambition to integrity, collective responsibility, and ultimately, service to others. Blending history, philosophy, mythology, Jungian psychology, and real-world insight, the book reframes leadership as a path of inner transformation—one that moves beyond success toward meaning, responsibility, and contribution.
“The most profound and lucid explanation of leadership I have ever encountered. It approaches the subject from a completely original perspective.”
— Airton Cousseau President & CEO, Hyundai Motor Brazil
“His experience and knowledge of leadership are simply extraordinary.”
— Mariela H. Aranda PMI Brasil

The SIWA Universe
SIWA takes its name from the ancient oasis of Siwa, in the Sahara Desert—home to one of the most revered oracles of the ancient world. It was there that Alexander the Great journeyed in search of the knowledge he believed fundamental before shaping his destiny and that of his empire. That symbolic act—the search for understanding before action—lies at the heart of SIWA.
Today, SIWA represents a school of thought: a conceptual and philosophical framework dedicated to restoring the deeper meaning of Strategy and Leadership in contemporary life and organizations. It stands for Strategy, Insights, Wholeness and Awareness—a holistic approach that integrates intellectual rigor, ethical clarity, historical understanding, and personal transformation.
